Bar Duty Information

Bar Policy (4pm – 7:30pm)

1. Bar Opening:

  • Arrive by 3:45pm to prepare the bar for 4pm opening.

  • Check float and stock levels; report shortages immediately.

2. Service Standards:

  • Serve alcohol responsibly, following Challenge 25 policy.

  • Keep the bar area clean and presentable throughout the shift.

  • Handle payments accurately; no tabs without prior approval.

3. Safety & Compliance:

  • Do not serve intoxicated persons.

  • Ensure no underage drinking.

  • Report all incidents directly to the Bar Manager.

4. Closing Procedure (from 7:15pm):

  • Stop service at 7:30pm.

  • Restock fridges and tidy the bar ready for next service.

Responsible Person:
The individual listed on the rota booking is responsible for overseeing the shift.
