Bar Duty Information
Bar Policy (4pm – 7:30pm)
1. Bar Opening:
-
Arrive by 3:45pm to prepare the bar for 4pm opening.

Check float and stock levels; report shortages immediately.
2. Service Standards:
-
Serve alcohol responsibly, following Challenge 25 policy.
-
Keep the bar area clean and presentable throughout the shift.
-
Handle payments accurately; no tabs without prior approval.
3. Safety & Compliance:
-
Do not serve intoxicated persons.
-
Ensure no underage drinking.
-
Report all incidents directly to the Bar Manager.
4. Closing Procedure (from 7:15pm):
-
Stop service at 7:30pm.
-
Restock fridges and tidy the bar ready for next service.
Responsible Person:
The individual listed on the rota booking is responsible for overseeing the shift.
